Wars of Armageddon

For twenty years, the Israelites groaned under the yoke of Jabin, king of Hazor. Finally, they remembered their past, turned from their idolatry, and with repentant hearts cried to the Lord for deliverance. And the Lord heard them. However, the deliverer whom God sent wasn’t a man, but Deborah, a woman well-known for her piety. She was also known as a prophetess, and in the absence of the usual magistrates, she became a judge for her people, who came to her for counsel and justice. “The Lord communicated to Deborah His purpose to destroy the enemies of Israel, and bade her send for a man named Barak . . . and make known to him the instructions which she had received. She accordingly sent for Barak, and directed him to assemble ten thousand men of the tribes of Naphtali and Zebulun, and make war upon the armies of King Jabin” (RC 329).

This battle between the Israelites and the Canaanites in the Valley of Jezreel—also called the plain of Megiddo—became a symbol of God’s intervention in judgment upon the nations and a symbol for His deliverance of His people (see Joel 3:12-16).

Consequently, in the book of Revelation, the final battle between good and evil is called the battle of Armageddon (see Revelation 16:12-16). Megiddo, from which may come the word Armageddon (“mountain of Megiddo”), was on one side of the plain of Jezreel. But it was from a mountain (Mount Tabor) that God had designated previously that Israel proceeded to victory against the host that God had said would be gathered against them in that valley.

Thus, the 144,000 of the Israel of God in the time of the sixth plague, like the 10,000 of Israel of old on the sides of Mount Tabor, are to look to God for deliverance from their oppressors. They are to take their stand upon the mountain of faith and obedience that overlooks the valley of deliverance. Following the defeat of Jabin’s army, Deborah ascribed all praise for the victory to God (see Judges 5:3-5, 13). She refused to accept any glory for herself or Barak. As a “mother in Israel” (Judges 5:7), she continued to watch over the people with maternal care, counseling, and aiding them in their search for justice.

Editor Notes: The Sixth Seal has two parts. The Seventh Trumpet falls upon the Earth just before, or as, and right after Jesus departs heaven to return to Earth. There is not enough information in the Scriptures. I am confident today that the Seventh Trumpet and Seventh Last Plague will surely fall after the Great City of Jerusalem is destroyed in Revelation 18. The Great Whore who killed so many Staints will also be destroyed and burned when Jerusalem fulfills its final destruction given in Daniel 9:26 during the 70th week of Daniel. We are now at the top of Revelation 19, and the Bride/Wife is ready. The wedding guests are reminded they, too, are invited to follow the Bridegoom and Bride on the Great Whtie Chariot during the seven-day “Honeymoon Trip” [Tabernacles} to the Bride’s new home.

Part 1 Sixth Seal Revelation 6:12, 13

[Part 1 Sixth Seal] Rev 6:12, 13  And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a [Chart K:] great earthquake; and the [After Chart G:] sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 

[Part 1 Sixth Seal] = Mat 24:29  Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 

Part 2 Six Seal Revelation 6:12-17

Part 2 Sixth Seal: [Chart P:] Rev 6:14-17  And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens, and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? 

Part 2 Sixth Seal [Chart P:] Mat 24:30  And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 

Editor Notes: Now compare the Seven Trumpet Seven Last Plague and Part 2 of the Sixth Seal; they are all part of the Second Coming of Jesus. In part 2 of the Sixth Seal, men see Jesus coming, and fear enters their hearts. The last Trumpet and Plague must occur after Revelation 18 when Jerusalem is destroyed. So, I will state they are connected to the Second Coming. Either begin before Jesus departs heaven, when he is on his way, or when he arrives. We know the Ten Kings and all the military power began gathering after {Chart G:]. After they destroyed Jerusalem, they are now waiting a few days 56 miles north of Jerusalem for this Alien invasion from outer space. Most will be surprised when they see the Jesus and Angles coming when they expect UFOs.

Seventh Trumpet

Rev 11:15  And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. 
Rev 11:16  And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, 
Rev 11:17  Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. 
Rev 11:18  And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. 
Rev 11:19  And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail. 

Seventh Last Plague or Bowl Of God’s Wrath

Rev 16:17  And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. 
Rev 16:18  And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. 
Rev 16:19  And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. 
Rev 16:20  And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. 
Rev 16:21  And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great. 

Revelation 19:1-5 also seem to fit the time, place and mannor of the events leading up to and include the Second Coming.
