3rd Angel’s Message Fulfilled?

The Pagan 7th Day Saturn Calendar Worship or William Miller’s Prophetic Biblical 7th Day Sabbath on Karaite Calendar. How can Sunday be a false Sabbath? Even the Pope knows Sunday is not a 7th Day Sabbath.

“I saw that God had children who do not see and keep the Sabbath. They have not rejected the light upon it.  And at the commencement of the time of trouble, we were filled with the Holy Ghost as we went forth and proclaimed the Sabbath more fully.  This enraged the churches and nominal Adventists, as they could not refute the Sabbath truth.  And at this time God’s chosen all saw clearly that we had the truth, and they came out and endured the persecution with us.  I saw the sword, famine, pestilence, and great confusion in the land.  The wicked thought that we had brought the judgments upon them, and they rose up and took counsel to rid the earth of us, thinking that then the evil would be stayed.”  Early Writings, p. 33

“I saw the nominal church and nominal Adventists, like Judas, would betray us to the Catholics to obtain their influence to come against the truth. The saints then will be an obscure people, little known to the Catholics, but the churches and nominal Adventists who know of our faith and customs (for they hated us on account of the Sabbath, for they could not refute it) will betray the saints and report them to the Catholics as those who disregard the institutions of the people; that is, that they keep the Sabbath and disregard Sunday.” E.G. “The Spirit is poured out upon all who will yield to its promptings, and casting off all man’s machinery, his binding rules, and cautious methods, they will declare the truth with the might of the Spirit’s power.  Multitudes will receive the faith and join the armies of the Lord…The safeguards which false shepherds have thrown around their flocks will become as naught; thousands will step out into the light, and work to spread the light.” –Review and Herald, vol. 3, p 272-275 (July 16 & 23, 1895)

Editor Notes: This next vision will help to clear up some Adventists who have been confused with what Ellen had written in this vision. She said, ‘In the city, I saw a temple, which I entered. I passed through a door before I came to the first vail.” So many believe Ellen said there was a Temple in the Holy City. Ellen said in the city she saw a temple. She didn’t say the Temple was in the Holy City. Now let us test this with the Scriptures: Rev 21:22  “And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.” So how do we resolve if Ellen White was wrong or maybe we do not understand what she said? Words can be a big problem. First, consider the walls. We are told they are transparent and can see through them. Ok. When Moses was on Mt Sinai, he was shown a vision of the Temple in Heaven, which he needed to see to design all the details. A visual is worth 1,000 words. So, place yourself in the Holy City. What can you see? Ellen said she saw a Temple. If the Temple was outside the walls of the Holy City, would we now have a better understanding of what she wrote? Yes. I will not take it up, but I found this vision recorded on another older document. I will return it and put it in this blog if I see it. Ellen said that she had been taken upwards to enter that temple. I believe in another vision; Ellen spoke of the Temple being on top of Mt Zion in heaven, and little children with angels watching over them joined the group going up to see the Temple. Some children used their little wings to fly to the top of Mt Zion, where Jesus told the group that only 144,000 were allowed to enter this Temple. Because the little children also had red borders around the bottom of the garments, we know they had been killed. This vision or view had to be in heaven and not after 1,000 years, or the little children would not be little after growing for 1,000 years.

Dear Brother Bates: – Last Sabbath, we met with the dear brethren and sisters here, who meet at Bro. Howland’s.

We felt an unusual spirit of prayer. And as we prayed, the Holy Ghost fell upon us. We were very happy. Soon, I was lost to earthly things and was wrapped up in a vision of God’s glory. I saw an angel swiftly flying to me. He quickly carried me from the earth to the Holy City. In the city, I saw a temple, which I entered. I passed through a door before I came to the first vail. This veil was raised, and I passed into the Holy Place. I saw the Altar of Incense, the candlestick with seven lamps, the table on which was the showbread, etc. After viewing the glory of the Holy, Jesus raised the second veil, and I passed into the Holy of Holies.”

“I saw that it is even so, ‘From even unto even shall ye celebrate your Sabbaths.’ Said the angel, ‘Take the word of God, read it, understand, and ye cannot err. Read carefully, and ye shall find what even is and when it is.’ I asked the angel if the frown of God had been upon his people for commencing the Sabbath as they had. I was directed back to the first rise of the Sabbath, and followed the people of God up to this time but did not see that the Lord was displeased, or frowned upon them. I inquired why it had been thus, that at this late day we must change the time of commencing the Sabbath. Said the angel, ‘Ye shall understand, but not yet, not yet.’ Said the angel, ‘If light come, and that light is set aside or rejected, then comes condemnation and the frown of God; but before the light comes, there is no sin, for there is no light for them to reject.’ I saw that it was in the minds of some that the Lord had shown that the Sabbath commenced at six o’clock when I had only seen that it commenced at ‘even,’ and it was inferred that even was at six. I saw that the servants of God must draw together, press together.”—Testimonies, vol. l, p. 116.
